Oneka is AWESOME!  Her personality and infectious smile win over everyone that meets her. She is originally from Memphis where she was heavily influenced by the local gospel, hip hop, and R&B scene. After high school, she moved to Nashville to gain her Bachelors in Political Science from Tennessee State University. Shortly after graduating, Oneka moved to the Washington, DC area and began working at a local DC law firm.

 

A few years ago, Oneka went back to her interest in music and picked up a new love for DJing. Using turn-tables and high-end equipment, she quickly realized that her potential for private events was great. 

 

Oneka joined Black Tie in 2014 and flew through our DJ certification program where she was recognized as a true star. Not only can she perform for any size event with aplomb, but her talents allow her to set the table for fun to be had by all. If you are looking for an amazing DJ with fantastic mixing skills that has a personality you will fall in love with, then Oneka is for you.
