Matt Johnson began performing professionally as a DJ in New Jersey in 1997 where he quickly established himself as a top wedding and corporate DJ/Master of Ceremonies. Prior to becoming a DJ, Matt performed in numerous Broadway national tours as an actor and a dancer, including playing the lead role in the musical "A Chorus Line" for many years.

 

Matt relocated to the Washington, DC area in 2001 and has brought a high degree of professionalism, stage presence and charisma to the many clients for whom he has successfully performed. What these clients love most about Matt is his outgoing personality, polished presence on the microphone, high motivation level, and organizational skills. 

 

He is proficient in ALL genres of music ranging from 1940's to current hits.   Having been a professional dancer for 25 years, he can dance to any one of the Latin categories.  Need Hindi or Arabic music in the mix - Matt is also versed in that!
