Chase was introduced to music at the age of two when he began violin lessons. That's right, like a boss. His love for music  stayed with him into his teens when he picked up a guitar for the first time and began writing music. That musically supported Chase into his twenties.

After working with many live music performance groups, Chase pursued solo acoustic performances as an attempt to grow further. During this time, he studied with different instruments including guitar, violin, banjo, and piano. Then he added drums, samplers, and synthesizers for a more polished sound.

His acquired interest for music theory and music production inspired him to study music and performance at college. Chase then became Mr. Capo as he began teaching private music lessons for guitar, bass, drums and piano at the Jacksonville Conservatory of Music in 2005. Since then, the events have been a steady, good sir!

Over the hundreds of events over his life that brought him here, the open mic nights were the biggest leaps forward. Those led from a festival appearance to headlining it the next year. His endearing personality and genuine passion for music is evident whether performing a solo instrumental piece on the guitar or an orchestra of synthesizers, controllers and drum machines. Chase performs his music on guitar instrumentally, but will also accompany requests by voice.

Chase incorporates modern songs into his acoustic wedding sets, some examples of which can be found below.
