Andrew Logan
I started DJing in 2007 while pursuing my music production degree at Ohio University and quickly became known around town as a crowd mover and musical guru. I was featured in the school newspaper and became the All Campus Radio Station’s head mobile DJ, rocking formal events for clients from Athens to Columbus. I learned to love DJing in front of crowds large and small and organizing musical events for various causes.
Since then I have moved back to my hometown of Alexandria, Virginia where I work as a live audio engineer. My emphasis as a DJ is on song selection, dissecting the crowd’s musical taste and giving every person on the dance floor something they like. I appreciate all types of music and my music library spans too many genres to name here – rest assured I am not your average top 40 DJ but I do have my finger to the pulse of current music trends.
I have a low-key style and believe the focus of your event should be the music, not the DJ. Though I’m a capable MC, I am wary of interrupting the flow of the dance floor for needless announcements. I look forward to bringing the music to your next event and providing the professional service you can expect from Black Tie DJs.
